Tissue paper flowers as confetti for weddings, parties and occasions.

These flowers are made from tissue paper and are so easy to make! All you need is a square of tissue paper and 2 cm floral tape for each.

I will try to take pictures of each step and show you how to make the. It is very easy but time consuming. There must be around 400 flowers in the basket so it's not a matter of making a few.

Holy Communion Pouches for Holy Rosary, Decorations

The house looked lovely with the white paper flowers and tulle along the stair case. Everything took a lot of time, especially the hand crocheted pouches, on which I have spent almost a year! Everyone liked the little pouches and they will all remember this special day!

I haven't written much here lately. We were busy and happy though. Raquel had her first Holy Communion. We are so proud of her. Her lovely dress was made by my aunt and the tiara was a gift from a lady who is so clever!!! The little girl beside Raquel is my niece Kylie.

6 th June 2013

Our plans to have an afternoon by the sea were completely ruined by strong winds and rough seas. After having Raquel in hospital for a couple of days we wanted so much to enjoy the sunshine. We are having fun anyway playing indoor games in June... quite unusual for this time of the year though! We thank God for keeping our little girl healthy and safe :)

Time Flies!

It's amazing how time flies! Since I went back to work my life has become such a rush! I need to prepare lessons for children so each minute is precious ... I'm either cleaning, out with the children for extra curricular activities or preparing lessons. Sundays are dedicated to my family. I miss my friends, when I have time to think about them. The children in my classroom keep me busy at work and my own children keep me busy at school but I don't complain as long as I am in good health. I thank God for each day that passes.

Here is our owl cake with my little helper!
A photo taken last summer! The 'Owl' was for my brother's graduation.
